OUR STORY
Bringing Central Oregon's Food Community Together
Agricultural Connections was created to make it easier for people to access local food while helping support the farmers, ranchers, and food producers who grow it. By bringing products from dozens of local producers into one convenient online marketplace, Agricultural Connections helps connect communities across Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, and surrounding areas with fresh, locally produced food.

Whether you're stocking your kitchen for the week, supporting local agriculture, or looking for a more convenient way to shop local, our goal is simple: make local food easier to find, easier to purchase, and easier to enjoy. Today, Agricultural Connections serves both households and businesses throughout Central Oregon through flexible ordering, pickup, and delivery options designed to fit a variety of lifestyles and schedules.

in order to get the best produce to your kitchen. We are always excited to talk about food, farming, logistics, sustainability, and community - from how to best store your herbs to how irrigation districts work!

Erin Bellomy Maher (they/them)
Owner & General Manager

Erin spent time as an academic, a civil servant, a programmer, a food truck mechanic, and a teacher before finally landing in food systems. Six years in restaurant operations and six years of Ag Connect later, they still love food and the people who grow it and gather around it just as much. Favorite hobby: filling half their fridge with homemade shrubs
Amanda Long (she/they)
Director of Community

Amanda has been described as "aggressively caring" and "the unofficial mayor of Bend". She is a proud double Aries, retired wedding photographer, and lifelong Oregonian. Amanda is always up to connect with, hype up, or laugh with anyone they come across. Favorite fruit that they think should be your favorite, too: Korla Pears
Kadie Vita (she/they)
Director of Operations

Almost compulsively driven to seek out deeper knowledge and new experiences in the wide world of food, Kadie has been a server, an Executive Chef, a farmhand, and a baker - and that's just professionally. In her free time, Kadie loves creating not just through cooking and baking, but also arts, crafts, and music. Favorite song to dance to in the warehouse: Golden by HUNTR/X
Ariel Roy (she/her)
Warehouse & Delivery Support

Ariel joins the Ag Connect team fresh off of her time as a founder, owner, and chef at Rootbound, a Sisters-based vegan food truck. Ariel has been enjoying the other side of the food world this season playing in the dirt with Mahonia Gardens and driving the veggie van for Ag Connect. Favorite all-purpose words of wisdom: "Let me be me!" (from her son)
OUR PRODUCER PARTNERS
Agricultural Connections works with a diverse network of local farms, ranches, food makers, and regional producers that help bring fresh, high-quality food to Central Oregon communities. We pride ourselves on working directly with sustainable and responsible producers, and always sourcing as local as possible. Some of our partnerships include: seasonal vegetables grown by producers like Boundless Farmstead, Sungrounded Farm, Rainshadow Organics, and Mahonia Gardens, locally raised meats from DD Ranch and North 44, fresh dairy from Garry's Meadow Fresh Jersey Milk, honey from Broadus Bees, and artisan products from makers like Bombaci Pasta and Mill Fire Baking. We are also proud to work with fishers from the Oregon Coast, fruit growers in the Willamette Valley and the Columbia Gorge, and (for specific products/seasons) organic farmers in Washington and citrus orchards in California. Together, these producers represent the incredible agricultural talent and entrepreneurial spirit found throughout Central Oregon and the surrounding region.
